Google AI Essentials is a self-paced online course crafted by AI experts at Google, catering to beginners with no prior experience in AI. Available on Coursera in English, this course equips learners across various roles and industries with essential AI skills, fostering productivity and hands-on experience with a range of AI tools. Participants will learn to harness AI to streamline daily tasks, brainstorm innovative ideas, and ensure responsible AI usage by identifying and mitigating potential biases.

Complementing Google AI Essentials are the Google Career Certificates, which prepare individuals for entry-level positions in burgeoning fields like Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Digital Marketing. Moreover, Google aims to provide up to 45,000 scholarships for GCC in 2024, building on the success witnessed since the program’s inception in 2022. Additionally, 91% of graduates feel more confident post-program completion, according to partner-led surveys.

Recognizing Pakistan’s vibrant freelance economy, Google has collaborated with the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) to develop programs addressing soft skills crucial for freelance success. This initiative, benefiting up to 50,000 PAFLA freelancers, focuses on areas such as personal branding and communication skills, enhancing the competitiveness of Pakistani freelancers in the global digital marketplace.

Furthermore, Google, in partnership with Tech Valley, has introduced the Career Kamyabi program, aimed at fostering gender balance in the Pakistani workforce. With the backing of over 50 leading employers in Pakistan, this program advocates for inclusive employment practices and provides women with equal opportunities for professional development and economic empowerment.
