بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

المرُومیوں کو شکست ہوئی ہےنزدیک کی سرزمین میں، اور وہ اپنی شکست کے بعد عنقریب غالب آ جائیں گےچند سال میں۔ اللہ ہی کا حکم ہے، پہلے اور بعد میں، اور اس دن ایمان والے خوش ہوں گےاللہ کی مدد سے۔ وہ جس کی تم ان کو اپنے برابر سمجھتے ہو کہ تم ان سے ڈرتے ہو جیسے اپنے آدمیوں سے ڈرتے ہو؟ اس طرح ہم اپنی آیات کو ان لوگوں کے لئے کھول کر بیان کرتے ہیں جو عقل سے کام لیتے ہیںبلکہ ظالم لوگ بغیر علم کے اپنی خواہشات کے پیچھے چلتے ہیں۔ پھر کون اس کو ہدایت دے سکتا ہے جس کو اللہ نے گمراہ کر دیا؟ اور ان کے لئے کوئی مددگار نہیںپس تم اپنا رخ دین کی طرف یکسو ہو کر سیدھا رکھو۔ اللہ کی فطرت ہے جس پر اس نے لوگوں کو پیدا کیا۔ اللہ کی پیدا کردہ فطرت میں کوئی تبدیلی نہیں۔ یہی سیدھا دین ہے، لیکن اکثر لوگ نہیں جانتےاس کی طرف رجوع کرتے ہوئے، اور اس سے ڈرو اور نماز قائم کرو اور مشرکوں میں سے نہ ہو جاؤان لوگوں میں سے جنہوں نے اپنے دین کو ٹکڑے ٹکڑے کر دیا اور گروہ گروہ ہو گئے، ہر فرقہ اپنے پاس والے پر خوش ہو رہا ہےاور جب لوگوں کو کوئی تکلیف پہنچتی ہے تو وہ اپنے رب کو اسی کی طرف رجوع کر کے پکارتے ہیں، پھر جب وہ انہیں اپنی طرف سے رحمت کا مزہ چکھاتا ہے تو اچانک ان میں سے کچھ لوگ اپنے رب کے ساتھ شرک کرنے لگتے ہیںتاکہ وہ ان نعمتوں کا انکار کریں جو ہم نے انہیں دی ہیں۔ پس کچھ دن فائدہ اٹھا لو، عنقریب تم جان لو گےکیا ہم نے ان پر کوئی دلیل نازل کی ہے جو ان کے شرک کی بات کرتی ہے؟اور جب ہم لوگوں کو رحمت کا مزہ چکھاتے ہیں تو وہ اس پر خوش ہو جاتے ہیں، اور اگر ان کے اعمال کی وجہ سے ان پر کوئی برائی آتی ہے تو فوراً وہ ناامید ہو جاتے ہیںکیا انہوں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ اللہ رزق کشادہ کرتا ہے جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے اور تنگ کرتا ہے (جس کے لئے چاہتا ہے)؟ بے شک اس میں ایمان لانے والے لوگوں کے لئے نشانیاں ہیںپس رشتہ دار کو اس کا حق دو، اور مسکین اور مسافر کو بھی۔ یہ ان لوگوں کے لئے بہتر ہے جو اللہ کی رضا چاہتے ہیں، اور وہی فلاح پانے والے ہیںاور جو تم سود دیتے ہو تاکہ لوگوں کے مال میں اضافہ ہو، تو وہ اللہ کے نزدیک نہیں بڑھتا، اور جو تم زکوة دیتے ہو اللہ کی رضا چاہتے ہوئے، تو یہی لوگ ہیں جو (اپنے مال کو) کئی گنا بڑھانے والے ہیںاللہ وہ ہے جس نے تمہیں پیدا کیا، پھر رزق دیا، پھر تمہیں موت دے گا، پھر تمہیں زندہ کرے گا۔ کیا تمہارے شریکوں میں سے کوئی ایسا ہے جو ان میں سے کچھ بھی کر سکے؟ پاک ہے وہ اور بہت بلند ہے اس شرک سے جو یہ کرتے ہیںخشکی اور سمندر میں فساد ظاہر ہو گیا لوگوں کے اعمال کے سبب سے تاکہ وہ ان کو ان کے بعض اعمال کا مزہ چکھائے، شاید کہ وہ باز آ جائیںکہہ دو: زمین میں چلو پھرو اور دیکھو کہ ان لوگوں کا انجام کیسا ہوا جو تم سے پہلے تھے۔ ان میں سے اکثر مشرک تھےپس اپنا رخ سیدھی دین کی طرف کر لو، اس سے پہلے کہ وہ دن آئے جس کے اللہ کی طرف سے واپس ہونے کا کوئی امکان نہیں۔ اس دن لوگ جدا جدا ہو جائیں گےجس نے کفر کیا تو اس کے کفر کا وبال اسی پر ہے، اور جنہوں نے نیک عمل کیے تو وہ اپنے لئے ہی (جنت) کی راہ ہموار کر رہے ہیںتاکہ اللہ اپنے فضل سے ان لوگوں کو جزا دے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کیے۔ بے شک وہ کافروں کو پسند نہیں کرتااور اس کی نشانیوں میں سے یہ ہے کہ وہ ہواؤں کو خوش خبری دینے کے لئے بھیجتا ہے اور تاکہ تمہیں اپنی رحمت کا مزہ چکھائے اور تاکہ کشتیاں اس کے حکم سے چلیں اور تاکہ تم اس کا فضل تلاش کرو اور تاکہ تم شکر گزار بنواور ہم نے تم سے پہلے کئی رسول ان کی قوموں کی طرف بھیجے، پس وہ ان کے پاس واضح دلائل لے کر آئے، پھر ہم نے ان لوگوں سے بدلہ لیا جنہوں نے جرم کیا، اور ہم پر لازم ہے کہ ہم ایمان والوں کی مدد کریںاللہ وہ ہے جو ہواؤں کو بھیجتا ہے، پس وہ بادل اٹھاتی ہیں، پھر وہ انہیں آسمان میں پھیلا دیتا ہے جیسے کہ وہ ان پر اتاری جائے، وہ مایوس تھےپس اللہ کی رحمت کے آثار دیکھو کہ وہ زمین کو اس کی موت کے بعد کیسے زندہ کرتا ہے۔ بے شک وہ مردوں کو زندہ کرنے والا ہے، اور وہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہےاور اگر ہم ایک ہوا بھیجیں، اور وہ اسے زرد دیکھ لیں، تو وہ اس کے بعد ضرور کفر کریں گےپس تم مردوں کو نہیں سنا سکتے اور نہ بہروں کو پکار سنا سکتے ہو جب کہ وہ پیٹھ پھیر کر جا رہے ہوںاور نہ تم اندھوں کو ان کی گمراہی سے راہ دکھا سکتے ہو۔ تم صرف انہی کو سنا سکتے ہو جو ہماری آیات پر ایمان لاتے ہیں، پس وہی ہیں جو فرمانبردار ہیںاللہ وہ ہے جس نے تمہیں کمزوری کی حالت میں پیدا کیا، پھر کمزوری کے بعد قوت دی، پھر قوت کے بعد کمزوری اور بڑھاپا دیا۔ وہ جو چاہتا ہے پیدا کرتا ہے اور وہ علم والا، قدرت والا ہےاور جس دن قیامت قائم ہوگی، مجرم قسمیں کھائیں گے کہ وہ ایک گھڑی سے زیادہ نہیں ٹھہرے۔ اسی طرح وہ (دنیا کی زندگی میں) جھوٹ بولتے تھےاور جنہیں علم اور ایمان دیا گیا تھا کہیں گے: بے شک تم اللہ کی کتاب کے مطابق قیامت تک ٹھہرے ہو، پس یہ قیامت کا دن ہے، لیکن تم جانتے نہ تھےپس اس دن ظالموں کو ان کا عذر کوئی فائدہ نہ دے گا اور نہ ان سے توبہ طلب کی جائے گیاور ہم نے اس قرآن میں لوگوں کے لئے ہر طرح کی مثال بیان کی ہے۔ اور اگر تم ان کے پاس کوئی نشانی لے آؤ تو کافر کہیں گے: تم صرف جھوٹ بولنے والے ہواسی طرح اللہ ان لوگوں کے دلوں پر مہر لگا دیتا ہے جو علم نہیں رکھتےپس صبر کرو، بے شک اللہ کا وعدہ سچا ہے، اور وہ لوگ تمہیں ہلکا نہ کریں جو یقین نہیں رکھت

बिस्मिल्लाह हिर्रहमान निर्रहीम

अलिफ़-लाम-मीम।रोमियों को पराजित कर दिया गया है।निकटवर्ती भू-भाग में, और वे अपनी पराजय के बाद शीघ्र ही विजय प्राप्त करेंगे।कुछ ही वर्षों में। अल्लाह का ही हुक्म है, पहले भी और बाद में भी। और उस दिन ईमानवाले खुशी मनाएंगे।अल्लाह की मदद से। वह जिसकी चाहता है मदद करता है। और वह प्रभुत्वशाली, दयावान है।अल्लाह का वादा है। अल्लाह अपने वादे के विरुद्ध नहीं करता, परंतु अधिकांश लोग नहीं जानते।वे सांसारिक जीवन के बाहरी रूप को जानते हैं, और वे आख़िरत से बेखबर हैं।क्या उन्होंने अपने आप में विचार नहीं किया? वे उनसे अधिक शक्तिशाली थे और उन्होंने धरती को अधिक बसाया और उससे अधिक लाभ उठाया जितना उन्होंने किया। और उनके पास उनके रसूल स्पष्ट प्रमाण लेकर आए। फिर अल्लाह ने उन पर अत्याचार नहीं किया, बल्कि वे स्वयं अपने ऊपर अत्याचार करते थे।फिर उनका परिणाम बुरा हुआ जिन्होंने बुराइयाँ कीं, क्योंकि उन्होंने अल्लाह की आयतों को झुठलाया और उनका मज़ाक उड़ाया।अल्लाह ही सृष्टि को पहली बार पैदा करता है, फिर वही उसे दोबारा पैदा करेगा, फिर तुम उसी की ओर लौटाए जाओगे।और जिस दिन क़ियामत क़ायम होगी, अपराधी निराश हो जाएंगे।और उनके साझेदारों में से कोई उनका सिफारिशी न होगा और वे अपने साझेदारों के इनकार करने लगेंगे।और जिस दिन क़ियामत क़ायम होगी, उस दिन लोग अलग-अलग हो जाएंगे।फिर जो लोग ईमान लाए और नेक कार्य किए, वे एक बाग़ में आनन्दित होंगे।और जिन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया और हमारी आयतों और आख़िरत की भेंट को झुठलाया, वे दण्ड में प्रस्तुत किए जाएंगे।अतः, अल्लाह की तस्बीह करो जब तुम शाम करो और जब तुम सुबह करो।और सारी प्रशंसा आकाशों और धरती में है, और जब तुम शाम करो और जब तुम दोपहर करो।वह जीवित को मृत से निकालता है और मृत को जीवित से निकालता है और धरती को उसकी मृत्यु के बाद जीवित करता है, और उसी तरह तुम भी निकाल लाए जाओगे।और उसकी निशानियों में से यह है कि उसने तुम्हें मिट्टी से पैदा किया, फिर तुम मनुष्य होकर फैल रहे हो।और उसकी निशानियों में से यह है कि उसने तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी ही जाति से बीवियाँ पैदा कीं ताकि तुम उनसे शांति प्राप्त करो, और उसने तुम्हारे बीच प्रेम और दया उत्पन्न की। निःसंदेह इसमें सोच-विचार करने वालों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं।और उसकी निशानियों में से आकाशों और धरती की सृष्टि और तुम्हारी भाषाओं और रंगों का विभिन्न होना है। निःसंदेह इसमें ज्ञान रखने वालों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं।और उसकी निशानियों में से रात और दिन में तुम्हारी निद्रा और उसका अनुग्रह (रोज़ी) खोजना है। निःसंदेह इसमें सुनने वालों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं।और उसकी निशानियों में से उसकी बिजली दिखाना, तुम्हें भय और आशा देने के लिए, और आकाश से पानी बरसाना, फिर उससे धरती को उसकी मृत्यु के बाद जीवित करना। निःसंदेह इसमें समझ रखने वालों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं।और उसकी निशानियों में से यह है कि आकाश और धरती उसके आदेश से क़ायम हैं। फिर जब वह तुम्हें एक बार पुकारेगा, तो तुम तुरंत निकल आओगे।और आकाशों और धरती में जो कुछ है वह सब उसी का है। सब उसी के आज्ञाकारी हैं।और वही है जो पहली बार सृष्टि करता है, फिर वही उसे पुनः उत्पन्न करेगा और यह उसके लिए बहुत आसान है। और आकाशों और धरती में उसकी विशेषताएँ सर्वोच्च हैं और वह प्रभुत्वशाली है, बुद्धिमान है।वह तुम्हारे लिए तुम्हारी ही उदाहरण से एक उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है। क्या तुम्हारे उन गुलामों में से, जो तुम्हारी मलकियत में हैं, कोई ऐसा है जो तुम्हारे दिए हुए रिज़्क में से तुम्हारे साथ साझेदार हो? क्या तुम उन्हें अपने बराबर मानते हो कि तुम उनसे वैसे ही डरते हो जैसे अपने आदमियों से डरते हो? इस तरह हम अपनी आयतों को उन लोगों के लिए स्पष्ट करते हैं जो सोच-विचार करते हैं।बल्कि अत्याचारी लोग बिना ज्ञान के अपनी इच्छाओं के पीछे चलते हैं। फिर कौन उसे मार्गदर्शन कर सकता है जिसे अल्लाह ने भटकाया हो? और उनके लिए कोई सहायक नहीं।अतः अपना रुख़ धर्म की ओर एकाग्र होकर सीधे रखो। अल्लाह की स्वभाव है जिस पर उसने लोगों को पैदा किया है। अल्लाह की सृष्टि में कोई परिवर्तन नहीं है। यही सीधा धर्म है, लेकिन अधिकांश लोग नहीं जानते।उसकी ओर लौटते हुए, और उससे डरो और नमाज़ क़ायम करो और बहुदेववादियों में से न हो जाओ।उन लोगों में से जिन्होंने अपने धर्म को टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिया और समूह समूह हो गए, प्रत्येक समुदाय अपने पास वाले पर प्रसन्न हो रहा है।और जब लोगों को कोई आपत्ति पहुँचती है, तो वे अपने रब को उसकी ओर लौटकर पुकारते हैं, फिर जब वह उन्हें अपनी ओर से दया का स्वाद चखाता है, तो अचानक उनमें से कुछ लोग अपने रब के साथ साझेदार बनाने लगते हैं।ताकि वे उन अनुग्रहों का इंकार करें जो हमने उन्हें दिए हैं। अतः कुछ दिन लाभ उठाओ, शीघ्र ही तुम जान जाओगे।क्या हमने उन पर कोई प्रमाण उतारा है जो उनके साझेदारी के विषय में बात करता है?और जब हम लोगों को दया का स्वाद चखाते हैं, तो वे उस पर प्रसन्न हो जाते हैं, और यदि उनके कार्यों के कारण उन पर कोई विपत्ति आती है, तो तुरंत वे निराश हो जाते हैं।क्या उन्होंने नहीं देखा कि अल्लाह जिसे चाहता है रोज़ी विस्तृत करता है और जिसे चाहता है संकुचित करता है? निःसंदेह इसमें विश्वास रखने वाले लोगों के लिए निशानियाँ हैं।अतः रिश्तेदार को उसका हक दो, और मिस्कीन और यात्री को भी। यह उन लोगों के लिए बेहतर है जो अल्लाह की प्रसन्नता चाहते हैं, और वही सफल होने वाले हैं।और जो तुम सूद देते हो ताकि लोगों के माल में वृद्धि हो, तो वह अल्लाह के पास नहीं बढ़ता, और जो तुम ज़कात देते हो अल्लाह की प्रसन्नता चाहते हुए, तो वही लोग हैं जो (अपने माल को) कई गुना बढ़ाने वाले हैं।अल्लाह वही है जिसने तुम्हें पैदा किया, फिर तुम्हें रोज़ी दी, फिर तुम्हें मृत्यु देगा, फिर तुम्हें जीवित करेगा। क्या तुम्हारे साझेदारों में से कोई ऐसा है जो इनमें से कुछ भी कर सके? वह पाक है और वह अत्यंत उच्च है उस साझेदारी से जो ये लोग करते हैं।धरती और समुद्र में भ्रष्टाचार प्रकट हो गया है लोगों के कर्मों के कारण ताकि वह उन्हें उनके कुछ कर्मों का स्वाद चखाए, शायद कि वे लौट आएँ।कह दो: धरती में यात्रा करो और देखो उनके परिणाम कैसे हुए जो तुमसे पहले थे। उनमें से अधिकांश बहुदेववादी थे।अतः अपना रुख़ सीधी धर्म की ओर कर लो, इससे पहले कि वह दिन आए जिस दिन अल्लाह की ओर से लौटने का कोई अवसर नहीं होगा। उस दिन लोग अलग-अलग हो जाएंगे।जिसने कुफ़्र किया तो उसके कुफ़्र का परिणाम उसी पर है, और जिन्होंने नेक कार्य किए तो वे अपने लिए ही (जन्नत) की राह हमवार कर रहे हैं।ताकि अल्लाह अपने अनुग्रह से उन लोगों को प्रतिफल दे जो ईमान लाए और नेक कार्य किए। निःसंदेह वह काफिरों को पसंद नहीं करता।और उसकी निशानियों में से यह है कि वह हवाओं को खुशखबरी देने के लिए भेजता है और ताकि तुम्हें अपनी दया का स्वाद चखाए और ताकि नौकाएँ उसके आदेश से चलें और ताकि तुम उसका अनुग्रह तलाश करो और ताकि तुम कृतज्ञ बनो।और हमने तुमसे पहले कई रसूल उनकी कौमों की ओर भेजे, फिर वे उनके पास स्पष्ट प्रमाण लेकर आए, फिर हमने उन लोगों से बदला लिया जिन्होंने अपराध किया, और हम पर आवश्यक है कि हम विश्वासियों की मदद करें।अल्लाह वही है जो हवाओं को भेजता है, फिर वे बादलों को उठाती हैं, फिर वह उन्हें आकाश में फैला देता है जैसे वह चाहता है, और उन्हें टुकड़े टुकड़े कर देता है, फिर तुम देखते हो कि उनके बीच से वर्षा निकलती है। फिर जब वह उसे अपने बंदों में से जिन्हें चाहता है पहुँचाता है, तो तुरंत वे खुश हो जाते हैं।हालाँकि इससे पहले कि वह उन पर उतारी जाए, वे निराश थे।अतः अल्लाह की दया के संकेत देखो कि वह धरती को उसकी मृत्यु के बाद कैसे जीवित करता है। निःसंदेह वही मरे हुओं को जीवित करने वाला है, और वह हर चीज़ पर शक्ति रखता है।और यदि हम एक हवा भेजें, और वे उसे पीली देख लें, तो वे उसके बाद अवश्य ही काफिर हो जाएंगे।अतः तुम मरे हुओं को नहीं सुना सकते और न बहरों को पुकार सुना सकते हो जब वे पीठ फेर कर जा रहे हों।और न तुम अंधों को उनकी गुमराही से राह दिखा सकते हो। तुम केवल उन्हीं को सुना सकते हो जो हमारी आयतों पर ईमान लाते हैं, अतः वही हैं जो आज्ञाकारी हैं।अल्लाह वही है जिसने तुम्हें कमज़ोरी की स्थिति में पैदा किया, फिर कमज़ोरी के बाद ताक़त दी, फिर ताक़त के बाद कमज़ोरी और बुढ़ापा दिया। वह जो चाहता है पैदा करता है और वह ज्ञानवान, सामर्थ्यवान है।और जिस दिन क़ियामत क़ायम होगी, अपराधी क़सम खाएंगे कि वे एक घड़ी से अधिक नहीं ठहरे। इसी प्रकार वे (दुनिया के जीवन में) झूठ बोलते थे।और जिन लोगों को ज्ञान और ईमान दिया गया था कहेंगे: निःसंदेह तुम अल्लाह की किताब के अनुसार क़ियामत तक ठहरे हो, अतः यह क़ियामत का दिन है, परंतु तुम जानते नहीं थे।अतः उस दिन अत्याचारियों को उनका कोई बहाना लाभ नहीं देगा और न उनसे तौबा की मांग की जाएगी।और हमने इस क़ुरआन में लोगों के लिए हर प्रकार की मिसालें बयान की हैं। और यदि तुम उनके पास कोई निशानी ले आओ तो काफिर कहेंगे: तुम केवल झूठे हो।इसी प्रकार अल्लाह उन लोगों के दिलों पर मुहर लगा देता है जो ज्ञान नहीं रखते।अतः धैर्य रखो, निःसंदेह अल्लाह का वादा सत्य है, और वे लोग तुम्हें हल्का न करें जो विश्वास नहीं रखते।

English Translation

Below is the English translation of Surah Ar-Rum:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Alif, Lam, Meem.The Romans have been defeatedIn the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome.Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice.In the victory of Allah. He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.[It is] the promise of Allah. Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.They know what is apparent of the worldly life, but they, of the Hereafter, are unaware.Do they not contemplate within themselves? Allah created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in truth and for a specified term. Yet many of the people, regarding the meeting with their Lord, are disbelievers.Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were greater than them in power, and they plowed the earth and built it up more than they have built it up, and their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would not ever have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves.Then the end of those who did evil was the worst [consequence] because they denied the signs of Allah and used to ridicule them.Allah begins creation; then He will repeat it; then to Him you will be returned.And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will be in despair.And there will not be for them among their [alleged] partners any intercessors, and they will [then] be disbelievers in their partners.And the Day the Hour appears – that Day they will become separated.And as for those who had believed and done righteous deeds, they will be in a garden [of Paradise], delighted.But as for those who disbelieved and denied Our verses and the meeting of the Hereafter, those will be brought into the punishment [to remain].So exalted is Allah when you reach the evening and when you reach the morning.And to Him is [due all] praise throughout the heavens and the earth. And [exalted is He] at night and when you are at noon.He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living and brings to life the earth after its lifelessness. And thus will you be brought out.And of His signs is that He created you from dust; then, suddenly you were human beings dispersing [throughout the earth].And of His signs is that He created for you from yourselves mates that you may find tranquillity in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.And of His signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth and the diversity of your languages and your colors. Indeed in that are signs for those of knowledge.And of His signs is your sleep by night and day and your seeking of His bounty. Indeed in that are signs for a people who listen.And of His signs is that He shows you the lightning, [causing] fear and aspiration, and He sends down rain from the sky and gives life thereby to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed in that are signs for a people who use reason.And of His signs is that the heaven and earth stand [maintained] by His command. Then when He calls you with a [single] call from the earth, immediately you will come forth.And to Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and earth. All are to Him devoutly obedient.And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.He presents to you an example from yourselves. Do you have among those whom your right hands possess any partners in what We have provided for you so that you are equal therein [and] fear them as you fear of one another? Thus do We detail the verses for a people who use reason.But those who wrong follow their [own] desires without knowledge. Then who can guide one whom Allah has sent astray? And for them there are no helpers.So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.Whoever disbelieves – upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness – they are for themselves preparing,That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.And We have already sent messengers to their people, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and He spreads them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoiceAlthough they were, before it was sent down upon them – before that, in despair.So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah – how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.But if We should send a [harmful] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers.So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs, retreating.And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah].Allah is the one who created you from weakness, then made after weakness strength, then made after strength weakness and white hair. He creates what He wills, and He is the Knowing, the Competent.And the Day the Hour appears the criminals will swear they had remained but an hour. Thus they were deluded.But those who were given knowledge and faith will say, “You remained the extent of Allah’s decree until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not used to know.”So that Day, their excuse will not benefit those who wronged, nor will they be asked to appease [Allah].And We have certainly presented to the people in this Qur’an from every [kind of] example. But, [O Muhammad], if you should bring them a sign, the disbelievers will surely say, “You [believers] are but falsifiers.”Thus does Allah seal the hearts of those who do not know.So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith].It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds, and He spreads them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them.
